As some of you may know, I am training for the Nike Women’s 15k race. This year it is being held on the Toronto Islands on June 14th. I’ve been to different places in Canada but never Toronto, so I am super excited. It will be the first race I have ever ran in. A lot of firsts for me!
Right now I am training every single day. If I can’t do a morning run then I’ll get it in at night. I am also doing training outside of running because long distance running can cause you to lose muscle tone. I don’t want that so I’ve been training harder to prevent that. Nike has been so helpful through this journey and I’ve been participating in their training programs to help me prepare for this race. If you would’ve asked me two months ago would I be running a 15k race, I would’ve told you that you were crazy.
I’ll be in Toronto from June 12th to the 15th. I already have some shoots booked out there but Toronto photographers and models hit me up! ByAjani will be accompanying me on this trip so if you want to work with either of us, contact us. He’s also the one who took these awesome photos.
